The Blue Bear strictly caters for websites associated to the travel and tourism sector! You may link a website, blog, community page etc, as long as it has a Url beginning with http:// - please remember we will not link to any sites that we deem to be offensive.

How can i get my website linked on www.thebluebear.co.uk?

Easy! just click on the 'buy pixels' page and follow the simple instructions. You will be required to submit 2 images, one for the grid and a GIANT image for the mouseover. Please keep file sizes AS SMALL as possible(grid images max 500kb). Images can be in either .gif .jpg or .pnf format with .gif being our preffered choice. GIANT images can be animated .gif files but must be no more than 100kb. Payment is via paypal for which you DO NOT need a paypal account.

Alternatively you can e-mail your images and text to tom@thebluebear.co.uk, please state where you would like your advert on the grid. Once funds have cleared in our Paypal account (tom@thebluebear.co.uk) your image and link will be activated as soon as possible.

I want to buy space but my website is not yet operational, is it possible to reserve pixels?

Yes, this is no problem. Just follow the simple instructions after clicking on 'buy pixels'. Just upload any old images for the grid and GIANT image and type in the url of any website-we will make the necessary changes once your website is operational and only then will we activate your advert. Alternatively e-mail us with the position and number of blocks you'd like reserved and we will hold them for you. You will need to make payment at the time you reserve the pixels.

How much does it cost? how long will my image + link stay on www.thebluebear.co.uk?

We aim to get all submitted adverts published on the site within 24-48 hours after funds have cleared in our account. During busy periods this may take slightly longer.

How can i renew my advert after one year?

We will send you an a reminder e-mail 3-4 weeks before your advert is due to expire. To renew your advert simply make payment of the applicable amount to our Paypal account.
